V.C. Sajjanar Takes Charge as the New Hyderabad Police Commissioner

In a major administrative reshuffle, V.C. Sajjanar, a 1996 batch IPS officer known for his firm stance on law enforcement, has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad. He officially took charge on September 30, 2025, succeeding C.V. Anand, who has been transferred to the Home Department as Special Chief Secretary.

He previously served as the Commissioner of Cyberabad Police and Managing Director of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC).
