Hyderabad: Collector Harichandana Dasari has launched a dedicated WhatsApp-based grievance redressal system to make it easier for citizens to raise concerns and seek resolutions.
Citizens can now voice their concerns by simply messaging 74166 87878 on WhatsApp.
Hyderabad Collector’s WhatsApp Service Reduces Need for Office Visits
The initiative aims to streamline grievance redressal by eliminating the need for physical visits to government offices, making the process faster and more accessible for the public.
The new initiative enables residents to submit complaints directly through WhatsApp, offering a faster and more accessible grievance redressal process.
Each complaint will be assigned a unique tracking ID and forwarded to the relevant department for prompt action. An Action Taken Report (ATR) will be issued to ensure transparency and accountability in resolving public issues through the WhatsApp service launched by Hyderabad Collector Harichandana Dasari.
The WhatsApp-based grievance system is particularly beneficial for senior citizens and differently-abled individuals who face mobility challenges.
It also offers convenience to working professionals who may be unable to attend in-person grievance meetings due to time constraints.
By leveraging WhatsApp, the Collector’s office aims to enhance accessibility, efficiency, and responsiveness in public service delivery.
