Avon Defence Systems Pvt Ltd, a renowned specialist in systems mechanical design and integration, has recently inaugurated its state-of-the-art facility at Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) Hardware Park in Hyderabad. Spanning across an impressive area of 5000 square feet, this cutting-edge facility is exclusively dedicated to the manufacturing of critical defense systems. These systems encompass various crucial aspects such as High Accuracy Mechanical fabrication, Integration, Power Converters Design and Manufacturing, and UAVs integration with strategic payloads.
Speaking on the occasion, Srikanth Reddy Aileni, the CEO and Co-founder of Avon Defence Systems, emphasized the company’s unwavering commitment to providing advanced defense solutions that are indigenously-developed and manufactured. Raghuveer Reddy, the CTO and Co-founder, also shed light on the key technical aspirations and goals of the company, further underscoring their dedication to innovation and excellence.
The facility’s grand inauguration took place in the presence of esteemed personalities including Dr. G Satheesh Reddy, Former Scientific Advisor to Raksha Mantri and former Secretary of the Department of Defence R&D, as well as the former Chairman of DRDO. Notable industry leaders and key stakeholders also attended the ceremony to witness the unveiling of this remarkable facility, signifying the significance of this milestone in the defense sector.
In addition to bolstering the defense industry, Avon Defence Systems’ new facility will play a pivotal role in generating employment opportunities. It is projected to create around 150 job positions for skilled professionals over the next 18-24 months.
