The event will showcase 365 stalls along with a variety of literary and cultural programs celebrating the social value of reading.
The 38th Hyderabad Book Fair is set to take place from December 19 to 29 at NTR Stadium, with organisers emphasizing this year’s theme of celebrating the spirit of books and creating a festival-like atmosphere for children and families.
The fair will host 365 stalls, offering a vibrant mix of literary and cultural programmes designed to reinforce the social importance of reading.
According to the organisers, the event aims to be more than just a book marketplace. Curated sessions will engage different sections of society, encouraging reading as a collective cultural practice.
Continuing its tradition, the organisers have named the premises and stages after renowned figures who have made significant contributions to literature and culture. The main venue will be known as Praja Kavi Andesri Premises, while the main stage has been dedicated to creative artist Anishetty Rajitha. The Book Launch Stage will carry the name of Kompally Venkat Goud, the Writers’ Point has been named after Professor S. V. Ramarao, and the Media Point honours Swetcha Votarkar.
