The third Global Gitopadesh Summit is scheduled for December 6 at Kanha Shanti Vanam near Hyderabad to commemorate Gita Jayanti. The summit will include Sloka recitations, talks, cultural programmes, and the concluding round of a global Sloka competition with 5,000 participants.
Hyderabad: The Global Gitopadesh Summit, now in its third edition, will be held on December 6 to commemorate the auspicious occasion of Gita Jayanti at Kanha Shanti Vanam, the headquarters of Heartfulness, located on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
According to a press release, the annual event brings together participants from across the country and from different age groups. The summit aims to share the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita and promote inner peace, resilience, and ethical living.
The Gitopadesh Summit will feature a range of activities, including Sloka recitation, storytelling sessions, and poster-making events for children. The programme will also include insightful talks by eminent speakers, panel discussions, and a cultural showcase. Participants will be provided free accommodation at Kanha Shanti Vanam.
The summit will also mark the finale of the Global Sloka Competition, which saw the participation of more than 5,000 children from across the world and nearly 150 schools.
