Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao, popularly known as KCR, was born in Chintamadaka, Medak Dist, Telangana to Sri. Raghava Rao and Smt. Venkatamma on February 17, 1954. He founded the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Party. He led the Telangana movement to its desired end and became the first Chief Minister of the State on the 2nd of June 2014
