Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) recently launched two advanced medical devices for its Surgical Gastroenterology department, enhancing patient care and surgical precision. The new additions include the Karl Storz 4K TL-400 Rubina laparoscopic tower with ICG system, offering high-definition visualization and Near-Infrared Fluorescence Imaging during minimally invasive surgeries. Alongside, the Olympus CV-170 Endoscopy and Colonoscopy System provides superior image quality, aiding early detection and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases.
These cutting-edge tools, valued at Rs 2 crore, promise safer surgeries and improved clinical outcomes. NIMS Director Dr. Nagari Bheerappa emphasized the importance of such modern equipment in elevating diagnostic accuracy and treatment efficiency for patients.
This initiative marks another step forward in NIMS’s commitment to adopting advanced technologies for better healthcare delivery in Hyderabad.
