Hyderabad: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rainfall alert for multiple districts across Telangana.
According to the department’s forecast, the rainy weather is expected to continue until Thursday, July 10.
Orange Alert Issued
Heavy rainfall is likely between July 8 and 10, prompting IMD Hyderabad to issue an orange alert across several regions.
While heavy rains are also anticipated on July 7, the IMD has issued a yellow alert for the day.
In addition to rainfall, the forecast includes thunderstorms, lightning, squalls, and strong surface winds across the state until July 10.
Rain Forecast for Hyderabad
For the city, IMD predicts light rain or thundershowers with gusty winds continuing through July 10.
In light of the prevailing weather conditions, temperatures across Telangana are expected to drop.
Although rain is likely in Hyderabad, the IMD has not issued any specific alert for the city.
