Dr. Krishna Ella was born in 1948 and hails from a modest agricultural background. He completed his Masters from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the year 1996. In 1997, he established Bharat Biotech which is located in Genome Valley, Hyderabad. Dr. Krishna strongly believes that innovative technology in vaccine development is essential to solve public healthcare problems caused by infectious diseases.
