Renowned educationist and founder-chairman of MS Education Academy, Mr. Mohammed Lateef Khan, has been honoured with the prestigious Maulana Abul Kalam Azad National Award 2025 by the Telangana Government. The award recognizes his exceptional contributions spanning over three decades in education, social welfare, and minority empowerment.
The felicitation ceremony took place at Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad, on the occasion of National Education Day. The award was presented by Mr. Mohammed Azharuddin, Minister for Minority Welfare, during a grand event organized by the Telangana Urdu Academy. The annual award celebrates individuals who have made outstanding impacts in education, Urdu literature, and social service.
Mr. Lateef Khan’s lifelong mission has been to make quality, value-based education affordable and accessible to all, especially students from underprivileged and minority backgrounds. Under his visionary leadership, MS Education Academy has grown into a transformative movement that empowers thousands of youth and women through academic programs, skill development initiatives, and leadership platforms.
Among his flagship initiatives are the MS IAS Academy for Civil Services aspirants, Lateefi 40 coaching for IIT and medical entrances, Zaibus Skill Development Centre for widow empowerment, and the Edventure Park promoting innovation and entrepreneurship among students.
Expressing his gratitude after receiving the award, Mr. Lateef Khan said, “This award is not just a recognition of my work, but of every teacher, student, and family that believes in the power of education. My goal is to ensure that quality education becomes affordable and accessible to every child — education should not be a privilege, but a right.”
Along with a citation and a memento, Mr. Lateef Khan received a cash prize of Rs. 2.25 lakh. The award ceremony was attended by prominent dignitaries, officials, and leaders from educational and social sectors who congratulated him on this well-deserved national recognition.
