Hyderabad’s Nehru Zoological Park is set to welcome two more zebras from Vantara, joining the existing trio, while also introducing a pair of Wallabies—the first in 37 years.
Hyderabad: Nehru Zoological Park’s zebra enclosure is about to get livelier with two more exotic zebras arriving from Vantara, Jamnagar’s global wildlife rescue centre. These will join the current trio—two males and one female, also from Vantara—marking the return of zebras after a 37-year absence.
The zoo is also planning to introduce a pair of Wallabies—kangaroo-like marsupials standing about three feet tall, much smaller than kangaroos that can reach up to eight feet.
