ICAR–NAARM is hosting the 33rd Annual Conference of the Agricultural Economics Research Association (AERA) from December 1–3 as part of its Golden Jubilee celebrations. This year’s conference highlights agribusiness innovation, women’s empowerment, and climate-resilient agriculture through a series of panel discussions, keynote addresses, and technical sessions.
Hyderabad: ICAR–National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM) is hosting the 33rd Annual Conference of the Agricultural Economics Research Association (AERA), India, from December 1 to 3 at its Hyderabad campus.
This year’s edition carries added significance as it coincides with ICAR–NAARM’s Golden Jubilee celebrations, marking five decades of impactful contributions to agricultural research, education, extension, capacity building, and policy advocacy within the National Agricultural Research and Education System (NARES).
The central theme of the conference revolves around Innovations in Agribusiness, Empowering Women, and Climate-Resilient Agriculture. The sessions will delve into enabling policies for agricultural prosperity, sustainable agri-food systems for rural development, strategies for bridging gender gaps and strengthening gender equity, and climate-smart technologies and policies that support resilient and sustainable agricultural growth.
Across the three-day programme, participants can look forward to a comprehensive line-up of panel discussions, keynote addresses, technical sessions, research paper presentations, symposia, and a dedicated student mentorship workshop, the press release noted.
