Curated by Annapurna Madipadiga in collaboration with Hasan, and presented by the Navanaami Group at their landmark property EON Hyderabad, Nanakramguda, this year’s edition builds a rich, multi-dimensional narrative of Indian art — bridging history, tradition, and experimentation. A special “Masters of India” gallery will spotlight rare works by modern legends such as M.F. Husain and S.H. Raza, alongside 30 leading contemporary artists from Hyderabad and 30 emerging artists from across the country.
Speaking about the cultural importance of the event, Venkat Naveen Gadde, Founder & Managing Director of Navanaami Projects Pvt. Ltd., shared, “At Navanaami, we believe that great cities are shaped not only by infrastructure, but by imagination. Our support for HYD.ART 2025 reflects our commitment to building a cultural legacy for Hyderabad — where architecture, business, and art come together to inspire new worlds of expression.”
Among the major highlights is Keerthanam – A Tribute to Telugu Legends, an exclusive showcase honouring the works of revered Telugu artists from past generations. Another standout feature is a captivating curation of three generations of Mithila artists, exploring the lineage, evolution, and contemporary expressions of this renowned Indian art form.
Across the three days, visitors can engage in a variety of panel discussions, presentations, and workshops, including sessions like “Rao Bahadur M.V. Dhurandhar: The Artist and His Art” by art historian Sandeep Dahisarkar, “Acquiring a Master: Insights from the Gallery, Market & History”, and “Rooted Movements: Narratives, Objects of Craft & Design Practices” by A. Shree Tej of Studio Samayam. Other interactive experiences include Mithila art workshops, Gouache cityscape sessions, woodcut printmaking, and live artist demonstrations, creating a truly immersive environment for art enthusiasts and learners alike.
