The vibrant second edition of the India Art Festival kicked off on Friday at Kings Crown Convention, Attapur, drawing in a large crowd of art enthusiasts, collectors, and creators.
This year’s festival brings together an impressive lineup — 25 leading art galleries and 250 artists from across the country, collectively showcasing more than 3,000 diverse artworks. From contemporary creations to traditional masterpieces, the exhibition reflects the rich and varied tapestry of India’s art scene.
Renowned names such as Laxman Aelay, Jagadish Chinthala, Tudi Devender Reddy, writer-curator Prayag Shukla, art collector Anju Podar, and former Jubilee Hills International Club president also marked their presence, adding to the event’s prestige.
Highlighting the festival’s growing cultural impact, Telangana Tourism Development Corporation chairman Patel Ramesh Reddy noted that the India Art Festival has become a significant platform for promoting the arts in Hyderabad. Echoing the sentiment, Tudi Devender Reddy remarked that such festivals greatly enrich the city’s cultural landscape.
More than just an exhibition, the festival offers an immersive experience through engaging fusion shows — live music and live painting sessions that provide visitors a fascinating peek into the creative process.
The festival will run until April 6.
