New office lease at Skyview 20 highlights the city’s rising tech and commercial appeal
The transaction highlights Hyderabad’s robust commercial real estate market and reinforces its position as a leading technology hub in India.
Facebook India Online Services Pvt Ltd, the Indian arm of Meta Platforms, has further expanded its Hyderabad presence by leasing 69,702 sq ft of office space in Hitec City, one of the city’s prime IT corridors.
The space has been taken up at Skyview 20, part of The Skyview complex, from Mahanga Commercial Properties Pvt Ltd under a five-year lease. The agreement, signed on December 2, 2025, entails a monthly rental of approximately ₹67 lakh, with rent commencing from December 18, according to documents accessed by real estate data analytics firm CRE Matrix, as cited in media reports. The lease includes a 15 per cent rent escalation after three years.
This transaction highlights Hyderabad’s resilient commercial real estate market and reinforces its standing as a major technology hub in India.
Meta established its first India office in Hyderabad in 2010 and has since maintained a significant footprint in the city. In late 2024, the company renewed leases for around 367,000 sq ft of office space within the same Skyview property through two separate agreements, extending the tenure by five years with a cumulative rental commitment of ₹170 crore.
Office leasing activity across India remained strong in 2025, driven primarily by technology companies and flexible workspace operators. Gross leasing across the top nine Indian cities reached a record 82.6 million sq ft during the year, up from 79 million sq ft in 2024, according to property consultancy CBRE India.
