The women-only ride service connects female passengers with women captains, offering safer travel and flexible earning opportunities with zero commission.
Hyderabad: Rapido has launched its Pink Bike service in Hyderabad, introducing a women-only travel option designed to make daily commuting safer and more comfortable for female passengers.
Under the Rapido Pink model, women passengers are matched exclusively with female bike captains. The service is expected to benefit students, working professionals and others seeking a more comfortable two-wheeler travel option, particularly during late hours.
Along with improving mobility for women, the initiative also creates flexible earning opportunities for female bike riders. Women can register as Pink Bike captains and choose their working hours based on their availability, with no fixed login requirements.
According to the launch information, captains can earn an estimated ₹400 by working for two hours and ₹800 by working for four hours. Rapido is also offering zero commission, allowing captains to retain their full ride earnings.
New captains may receive a joining bonus of up to ₹5,000, along with additional daily and weekly incentives.
By connecting women passengers with female captains, Rapido Pink aims to combine safer commuting with greater financial independence and flexible employment opportunities for women in Hyderabad.
Women interested in joining as Pink Bike captains can download the Rapido Captain app and complete the registration process through the platform.
