Google launches AI Plus subscription in India, granting expanded access to Gemini 3 Pro, multimedia tools, NotebookLM, and 200GB storage—with seamless integration into Gmail and Docs, plus family sharing and intro pricing.
New Delhi: Google launched its AI Plus subscription in India on Wednesday, unlocking expanded access to cutting-edge AI models, multimedia tools, and productivity boosters. The plan offers Gemini 3 Pro integration in the Gemini app, plus enhanced image/video tools like Nano Banana Pro and Flow to supercharge creativity and efficiency, the company stated.
The AI Plus plan seamlessly integrates Gemini into Gmail and Google Docs, while offering expanded NotebookLM access for research, 200GB storage across Photos, Drive, and Gmail, plus family sharing for up to five members. Priced at Rs 399/month (introductory Rs 199 for first six months), it delivers advanced AI tools affordably to boost productivity and creativity, Google stated.
In November, Google outlined a safety-first AI roadmap for India, prioritizing protection for children, teens, and seniors. It introduced on-device anti-scam tools, text watermarking, and digital literacy programs, including ‘Scam Detection’ powered by Gemini Nano on Pixel phones—analyzing unknown calls in real-time without recording or data sharing, off by default with user controls and alerts.
