The students of IIT Hyderabad will host the 14th annual technology and cultural festival, ‘Elan and nVision’, with the theme “Secrets of Valenrow – A mystical town awaits” from February 17th to 19th.
For the first time in two years, the festival will be held in an in-person format and will offer engaging academic sessions such as workshops and seminars, as well as an array of entertaining events hosted by DJs, stand-up comedians, and singers.
The 14th edition of the ‘Elan and nVision’ technology and cultural festival, which is being supported by Telangana Today as its media partner, will also focus on the social cause theme of ‘Ikshana – Save Animals’. Actress Amala Akkineni will give a talk on the importance of animal lives, while the CEO of Ramoji Film City, Sesha Kanthamraju, will speak on “Creative thinking inside the box”.
The festival will feature a lineup of entertainers, including the Indie rock band Anand Bhaskar Collective, singer Gajendra Verma, stand-up comic Aashish Solanki, musicians DJ Shaan and electronic pop-duo DJ Zephyrtone. The event will also have a number of fun and interactive activities, such as an online treasure hunt Cryptex, a hip-hop group dance competition, a fun quiz, a robo-soccer tournament for robotics enthusiasts, and a ramp show for aspiring models.
