Born in Aizawl, Mizoram, Christina did most of her schooling across different districts in Andra Pradesh as her father was serving in the IPS in Andra Pradesh. Dr. Christina Z. Chongthu decided that she could help the needy more as an IAS Officer than as a doctor.
