K. Shashanka, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the 2013 batch of the Telangana cadre, currently serves as the Commissioner of State Flagship Projects in Telangana. Appointed in October 2024, he leads a newly established department tasked with overseeing major infrastructure initiatives, including the development of the proposed “Fourth City” or “Future City,” enhancements to the Regional Ring Road (RRR), and the creation of tourism circuits around Hyderabad.
