IAS Amrapali, born and raised in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, is a distinguished civil servant known for her exceptional career and contributions.

After completing her schooling at Sai Satya Mandir School and earning a B.Tech from IIT Chennai followed by an MBA from IIM Bangalore, she briefly worked in the corporate sector before pursuing her passion for civil services. Amrapali secured the 39th rank in the UPSC exams in 2010 and has since served in various roles including Sub-Collector in Vikarabad, Director of Women and Child Welfare, and Joint Collector in Ranga Reddy District. Currently on Central deputation, she serves in the Prime Minister’s Office alongside two other officers until 2026. Throughout her career, Amrapali has been a beacon of courage and leadership, advocating for gender equality and inspiring youth through her speeches and community initiatives in Warangal, where she undertook significant infrastructure and beautification projects. Her dedication to public service and her impactful leadership continue to make her a role model for aspiring civil servants and citizens alike.
