Hyderabad’s Hussainsagar and Necklace road promenade have undergone a ₹1000 crore transformation, with the Secretariat costing ₹616 crore, the Ambedkar statue costing ₹147 crore, and the Telangana Martyrs Memorial costing ₹178 crore.
The area is now a visual spectacle, with shiny buildings covered in scaffolding and mirrored surfaces reflecting the surroundings. Passers-by stop to take photographs and admire the scenery.
Even during the Formula-E race, a traffic constable had to urge people to keep moving instead of stopping to take pictures.
