Hyderabad: Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories (DRL) has set a Guinness World Record for the largest brochure mosaic installation, covering 162 square meters. This record-breaking mosaic is part of DRL’s ‘Glycemic Happiness’ awareness initiative for Type 2 diabetes mellitus. The unveiling ceremony took place in Hyderabad, where Swapnil Dangarikar, senior adjudicator at Guinness World Records, presented the citation to DRL representatives.
The initiative emphasizes the role of psycho-social wellness in the comprehensive management of diabetes. Dr. Reddy’s collaborated with top endocrinologists and diabetologists across India to create the ‘Glycemic Happiness Scale,’ a 10-question tool that classifies patients as unhappy, neutral, or happy based on their responses. The scale has been distributed to over 7,500 healthcare professionals nationwide. DRL reported that a significant majority found the scale valuable, with more than 6,200 professionals using it to benefit over 30,000 patients.
