Nationally, the list is headed by the Ambani family of Reliance Industries, valued at a staggering ₹25,75,100 crore, followed by the Bajaj family with ₹7,12,700 crore, and the Birla family with ₹5,38,500 crore.
In Telangana, after Dr. Reddy’s Labs, the Datla family of Biological E ranks 83rd nationwide with a value of ₹15,900 crore. They are followed by the Raju family of NCC Ltd, ranked 92nd with ₹13,700 crore, and the GVK Reddy family, whose Aragen Life Sciences venture is valued at ₹10,900 crore, placing them at 106th.
Other notable Telangana families include the Reddy family of Medha Servo Drives, valued at ₹9,700 crore, and the Prasad and Devineni families of Nava Group with ₹6,900 crore. The Avanti Feeds family is also on the list with a valuation of ₹6,800 crore.
Among first-generation family businesses with active second-generation leaders, the Divi family of Divi’s Laboratories stands out. They are ranked 3rd nationwide, with a business valued at ₹91,200 crore, following only the Adani family of Adani Enterprises and the Poonawalla family of Serum Institute of India.
Hyderabad’s business influence is further evident with the Reddy family of Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd, valued at ₹75,100 crore, taking the 7th spot nationwide. The Reddy family of Hetero Labs is ranked 14th with ₹22,300 crore, and Cyient founder BVR Mohan Reddy’s family ranks 15th with ₹22,200 crore. The Jupally family of My Home Industries rounds out the top Hyderabad families at 18th place with ₹20,400 crore.
