Hyderabad’s Bharat Future City to Host Major Bollywood Film Studios
Hyderabad is poised to strengthen its status as a premier film production hub with Bollywood superstars Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn planning to establish large-scale film studios in Bharat Future City. The ambitious projects led by Salman Khan’s SKF Films and Ajay Devgn’s NY VFXwala are set to span 50 to 60 acres each, marking a significant expansion in the city’s creative ecosystem.
Strategic Government Support and Industry Collaboration
Discussions between these film veterans and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy have paved the way for these projects, with the Telangana government preparing incentives and land allotment to support the studio constructions. The formal Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) are expected to be signed during the upcoming Telangana Rising Global Summit scheduled for December 8 and 9, 2025.
The studios will be equipped with advanced VFX technology, expansive shooting sets, and modern facilities aimed at attracting Bollywood as well as international film productions. This investment not only brings cutting-edge infrastructure but is also set to create numerous job opportunities for local artists, technicians, and creative professionals, further boosting Hyderabad’s entertainment industry.
Bharat Future City: Vision for a Creative and Technological Hub
Bharat Future City is envisioned as a world-class integrated hub encompassing technology, arts, education, tourism, and sports, making it an ideal location for these studio projects. With participation from over 1,300 delegates from global and national companies at the upcoming summit, Telangana is banking on these landmark projects to position itself as a global investment and cultural destination.
Boosting Hyderabad’s Film Industry Landscape
The entry of Bollywood giants into studio development underscores Hyderabad’s appeal and growing prominence in India’s cinematic map. These studios will foster collaboration between Bollywood and the thriving South Indian film industry, facilitating large-scale productions with superior technical support.
