Dolby Laboratories has unveiled plans to launch Dolby Cinema in India this year, partnering with six exhibitors: Allu Cineplex (Hyderabad), City Pride (Pune), LA Cinema (Trichy), AMB Cinemas (Bengaluru), EVM Cinemas (Kochi), and G Cineplex (Ulikkal), to bring this premium cinematic experience to audiences.
Hyderabad: The cinematic experience in Hyderabad is about to reach new heights with the launch of the city’s first Dolby Cinema at Allu Cineplex—giving it an edge among India’s top film destinations.
Dolby Laboratories, in collaboration with National Engineering, is introducing Dolby Cinema in India through six exhibitors: Allu Cineplex (Hyderabad), City Pride (Pune), LA Cinema (Trichirappalli), AMB Cinemas (Bangalore), EVM Cinemas (Kochi), and G Cineplex (Ulikkal).
The sound moves seamlessly—starting here, traveling around, and soaring above the audience—creating an immersive experience like never before. With an auditorium designed for optimal viewing from every seat, Dolby Vision enhances the visuals with brighter highlights, deeper blacks, and richer colors.
Spearheading this project in Hyderabad is Allu Aravind, one of the industry’s leading film producers. The upcoming Allu Cineplex, near Narsingi/Kokapet, will bring a world-class Dolby Cinema experience exclusively for Hyderabad’s movie lovers.
This further strengthens Dolby’s presence in the city, following its collaboration with Annapurna Studios to establish India’s first Dolby Vision color grading facility—empowering Indian filmmakers with cutting-edge visual storytelling technology.
Allu Cineplex is set to redefine cinema in Hyderabad, delivering breathtaking visuals and immersive sound exactly as filmmakers envisioned.
