Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner, Amrapali Kata, stated that all necessary measures have been implemented to ensure devotees face no difficulties during the Shobha Yatra for Ganesh idol immersions on September 17.
She added that a dedicated team, consisting of officials from various departments, has been formed to oversee road repairs, ensure street lighting, and carry out tree trimming along the routes from pandals to the water bodies for the immersions.
To facilitate smooth immersions, baby ponds and portable ponds have been set up at nearby locations for devotees. Additionally, electricity, drinking water, sanitation services, and the necessary personnel and machinery have been deployed, the GHMC Commissioner added.
