Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner Amrapali Kata, along with the project’s chief engineer, superintending engineer, and other officials, reviewed the proposed H-CITI works in the LB Nagar zone on Wednesday.
During the visit, the Commissioner assessed the plans for the Alkapuri Junction and the proposed flyovers from TKR Junction to Gayatri Nagar and Manda Mallamma Junction. Project Chief Engineer Devanand briefed the Commissioner on the importance of these projects.
Amrapali Kata directed officials to coordinate with Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) on the alignment of the proposed flyovers. She also instructed engineers to inspect the LB Nagar Junction and work with town planning and traffic authorities to expedite land acquisition for the free left turn.
Following the inspection of the Bairamalguda RHS loop, the engineering team was advised to collaborate with town planning officials to quickly complete asset acquisition for the loop’s completion as part of the separate grade road work.
LB Nagar Zonal Commissioner Hemant Keshav Patil and other officials were also present during the inspections.
