Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, born on June 15, 1961, is the Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana since December 2023 and a distinguished representative of the Madhira constituency in the Telangana Legislative Assembly. A prominent member of the Indian National Congress (INC), his political career spans significant roles including Leader of the Opposition in the Telangana Assembly and multiple terms as an MLA since 2009. With an educational foundation from Nizam College and the University of Hyderabad, Vikramarka’s ascent in politics includes key positions like Chief Whip for the Andhra Pradesh Government and Deputy Speaker of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly. His current role as Deputy Chief Minister, overseeing Finance, Planning, and Energy in the Revanth Reddy Ministry, underscores his enduring commitment to Telangana’s development and progress.
