Dansari Anasuya, commonly known as Seethakka, born July 9, 1971, is a dynamic Indian politician currently serving as a Cabinet Minister for Panchayati Raj & Rural Development, Rural Water Supply, Women and Child Welfare in the Government of Telangana, representing the Mulug assembly constituency. Initially a member of the Naxalite movement, she left it in 1997, pursued law studies, and completed her Ph.D. in political science from Osmania University. Anasuya’s political journey began with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in 2004, leading to her first electoral victory in Mulug in 2009. Despite a setback in 2014, she joined the Congress, becoming the general secretary of All India Mahila Congress and later the state in-charge for Chhattisgarh Mahila Congress. Winning Mulug again in 2018 and 2023, Anasuya was sworn in as a cabinet minister on December 7, 2023, marking her as a significant and influential figure in Telangana’s political landscape, often referred to as the ‘Iron Lady of Telangana’.

Tamilisai Soundararajan who is the ceremonial head of the state, with a democratically elected Chief Minister, Sri Anumula Revanth Reddy, and his council of ministers who run the state.
