Duddilla Sridhar Babu, born on May 30, 1969, is a prominent politician from the Indian National Congress, currently serving as a senior minister in the Telangana Government with key portfolios in Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Industry & Commerce, and Legislative Affairs. Representing the Manthani Constituency in the Telangana Assembly, Babu, a five-term MLA, has a notable political lineage as the son of former Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker D. Sripada Rao. Educated in law at the University of Delhi and the University of Hyderabad, Babu shifted from a legal career to politics following his father’s assassination. His tenure includes significant roles both in the united Andhra Pradesh and in the Telangana government, highlighting his long-standing dedication to regional development and public service.
