Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, born on May 23, 1965, in Nalgonda district, Telangana, is a prominent Indian politician and key figure in the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee. Serving as a Member of Parliament for Bhuvanagiri Constituency since 2019 and a star campaigner since 2022, Reddy has played an influential role in Telangana’s political landscape. His early life in Brahmana Vellemla village and education in Civil Engineering from Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, fueled his commitment to societal reform, beginning with his involvement in youth politics as the NSUI District Incharge. A four-time MLA from Nalgonda assembly constituency, Reddy’s consistent popularity and leadership skills are evident. His administrative prowess was showcased during his tenure in YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s government as Minister for Information Technology and later for ports. Reddy’s significant contributions, highlighted by his re-election as Nalgonda’s MLA in 2023, demonstrate his lasting impact and dedication to Telangana’s development and welfare.
