Hyderabad: Shivali Johri Srivastava, an alumna of GITAM (Deemed-to-be University), along with her parents, Kavita Johri Srivastava and Anil Srivastava, has once again earned a place in the Guinness Book of World Records by crafting the highest number of various origami figurines.
Shivali and her family crafted 3,400 origami peacocks, 4,400 origami shirts, and 3,200 origami boars, setting new world records. These accomplishments marked the family’s 18th, 19th, and 20th Guinness World Records, following the validation of video evidence by Guinness officials, who then awarded the official recognition of their achievements.
With 20 world records, the Srivastava family boasts the highest number of Guinness World Records in Hyderabad.
Shivali Johri Srivastava, an origami artist, achieved recognition in the Guinness World Records for her paper figurines, which include whales, penguins, lemons, maple leaves, dogs, dinosaurs, and more.
According to a press release, Shivali’s accomplishments were supported by GITAM (Deemed-to-be University), where she utilized the facilities to create and showcase her artwork.
