Hyderabad: Telangana IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu visited IIT Kandi on Monday, August 26, and commended the institute for its development of a driverless vehicle (buggy).
He was accompanied by former MLA Jagga Reddy and IIT Director Murthy, and Minister Sridhar Babu had the opportunity to experience the driverless vehicle firsthand.
This innovation was developed by the Technology Innovation Hub on Autonomous Navigation and Data Acquisition Systems, which was inaugurated by Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State for Science, Technology, and Earth Sciences, on July 4, 2022.
Reflecting on his earlier visit to Silicon Valley with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Sridhar Babu noted that the technology at IIT Hyderabad impressed him even more.
He suggested that this experimental technology could eventually become a standard feature and expressed his intention to explore its potential integration into government departments.
Additionally, Babu announced plans to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) services across various sectors.
He stated that the technology, currently in the experimental stage, would be adopted for regular use. He mentioned plans to discuss with his colleagues how this technology could be implemented across all government departments.
He also revealed that artificial intelligence (AI) services would be integrated across various fields.
