Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced that the Women’s University at Koti will be renamed after Chakali Ailamma, the revolutionary leader from the Telangana armed struggle.
At the 39th death anniversary event of Chakali Ailamma on Tuesday, the Chief Minister also directed Telangana State Commission for Women Chairperson Nerella Sharada to appoint Swetha Ailamma, Chakali Ailamma’s great-granddaughter, as a member of the Commission.
