Hyderabad Racers Shine at National Motorcycle Racing Championship 2025
The 2025 MRF MMSC FMSCI Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship’s penultimate round, held at the scenic Madras International Circuit in Chennai from October 3 to 5, brought thrilling action and outstanding performances from Hyderabad’s top motorcycle racers.

Rajender Beedani of the Motorsports Academy of India emerged as a standout in the Stock 165cc Novice category by clocking the fastest lap time of the season at 2 minutes 7.108 seconds during the qualifiers, securing a valuable pole position. Rajender demonstrated exceptional skill and determination in both Race-1 and Race-2, clinching first place in the opening race after a fierce competition with rival Lal Nunsanga. His strategic racing preserved his lead in the championship standings, keeping his title hopes alive with one final round remaining.

In the premier Pro-stock 301-400cc category, Hyderabad’s Rahil Pillarisetty from Team RACR Castrol Power1 delivered an equally impressive performance. After securing the second-best qualifying time of 1 minute 48.084 seconds, Rahil dominated Race-1, using a strong launch and tactical maneuvers to earn first place. He raised the bar even further in Race-2 by setting a new lap record of 1 minute 47.392 seconds, solidifying his grip on the championship lead amidst tough competition.

Mohammed Samrul Zubair of Motul Sparks Racing Team also represented Hyderabad with grit and resilience across multiple categories despite facing technical setbacks. His aggressive race pace and competitive spirit kept fans on the edge of their seats as he battled fiercely for podium finishes.
The Chennai rounds highlighted Hyderabad’s rise on the national motorcycle racing map, with several riders from the city’s Motorsports Academy of India earning podium finishes and turning heads.
