Hyderabad: Ustad Zakir Hussain, a Padma Vibhushan awardee and renowned tabla player, will grace Hyderabad with his presence on February 18 at 6:30 pm for a musical concert held at Shilpakala Vedika. Along with him, flutist Pandit Rakesh Chaurasia will also be performing, making the evening a truly delightful musical experience.
While this will be Ustad’s second performance in the city, the concert titled “Melody of Rhythm” is special as it marks his first duet with Pandit Chaurasia.
Pandit Chaurasia expressed his gratitude on the occasion, stating that it is a privilege to perform alongside such an iconic figure. The concert, named “Melody of Rhythm,” is the brainchild of Savani Events from Pune and the ArtHub Foundation of Hyderabad.
