Delegation to visit Hyderabad in October to finalize collaborations in tech, sports, and life sciences.
During his official visit to London, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy met with Susan Finnegan and Nuala Gallagher, corporate directors of city development for the Liverpool City Council, alongside representatives from Liverpool Football Club.
The discussions centered on building a strategic alliance between Liverpool and Telangana across key sectors, specifically targeting life sciences, technology, sports, and the creative economy. Following a highly productive meeting, the Chief Minister announced that a delegation from Liverpool will travel to Hyderabad this October to officially formalize the collaboration.
This UK engagement is part of the “Telangana Rising” delegation’s ongoing tour, which has also included discussions at the University of Oxford’s Blavatnik School of Government. The Chief Minister is continuing his engagements in the UK after the central government denied political clearance for the US leg of his planned two-nation tour.
