Hyderabad: Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu announced that US-based Microlink Networks would set up an electronics and product manufacturing unit in Telangana with a ₹500 crore investment.
The unit will be established in collaboration with Hyderabad-based PSR Industries. The Minister held a meeting with Microlink representatives and PSR Industries Chairman Sriranga Rao at the Secretariat on Thursday.
“The company will invest ₹500 crore over the next three years to set up an electronics, IT, and construction sector equipment manufacturing unit, generating 700 jobs,” said Sridhar Babu.
The Minister also noted that his recent discussions with Microlink Networks during his visit to America were successful, leading to their agreement to invest in Telangana.
Microlink Networks, a global leader in producing data transmission and networking cables, Internet of Things devices, and multi-level parking machines, recognizes Telangana’s abundant skilled workforce, he added.
