Hyderabad: A three-day summer workshop kicked off on Tuesday at Rashtrapati Nilayam, blending fun with learning for students aged 10 to 18. Over 1,000 participants, including specially-abled students, are taking part in this eco-conscious initiative aimed at promoting environmental awareness and sustainable living. The workshop features engaging hands-on activities such as drone-making, pottery, wealth from waste, fabric painting, terracotta jewellery crafting, and fireless cooking—each designed to inspire creativity while reinforcing eco-friendly values.
Parents also showed keen interest in the workshops, acknowledging the value of nurturing environmental responsibility from a young age. Sessions on drone technology, in particular, sparked engaging conversations on merging innovation with sustainability. The workshops will continue for the next two days, from 10 am to 4 pm. Students interested in participating can register through the official website: https://rb.nic.in/Rbnilayam/
