Hyderabad: In a positive development, ten world-renowned universities have agreed to establish Skill Development Centres across Telangana, with an estimated investment of Rs 300 crore, announced Minister for Industries and Commerce Sridhar Babu Duddilla on Wednesday. The Minister shared on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) that he met with representatives from the International Startup Foundation and Startup Runway on Tuesday. Both organizations promote global startups and have training agreements with ten prestigious skill universities, including the University of Texas in the U.S. and London Business School in the UK.
Additionally, representatives from Texas’ Richardson City and Frisco City have shown interest in collaborating on activities within the newly established ‘Artificial Intelligence City’ in the state, stated Sridhar Babu. He revealed that these representatives will serve as negotiators for American and British companies looking to invest in AI City and will also assist in providing marketing opportunities for Telangana’s startup products in the U.S.
