Hyderabad: Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), Shamshabad, has introduced Virtual Information Kiosks (VIKs) and interactive terminal maps, powered by a centralized system to deliver consistent and real-time information to passengers, GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd. (GHIAL), part of the GMR Aero-led consortium, announced on Monday.
As part of this digital upgrade, 10 kiosks have been strategically installed across key passenger touchpoints including check-in halls, boarding gates, arrivals, and baggage claim areas. These VIKs provide real-time flight updates, interactive 3D navigation, emergency assistance, Wi-Fi access for international travelers, and instant feedback facilities, enhancing the overall travel experience.

(GHIAL), part of the GMR Aero-led consortium, announced on Monday.
The initiative includes 10 kiosks strategically positioned across check-in halls, boarding gates, arrivals, and baggage claim areas. Passengers can access real-time flight updates, 3D navigation, emergency support, Wi-Fi connectivity for international travelers, and instant feedback options.
In addition, GHIAL has introduced interactive terminal maps on its official website (www.hyderabad.aero), enabling passengers to plan their journey with detailed information on boarding gates, retail zones, dining outlets, and essential amenities.
