TGIIC’s latest auction of a 5.38-acre plot raised Rs 1,447.22 crore, taking the combined revenue from two Raidurg auctions to Rs 2,833.22 crore.
Hyderabad: The Raidurg land auction has set a new benchmark, with a 5.38-acre plot fetching Rs 1,447.22 crore at a record price of Rs 269 crore per acre, the Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC) announced.
The latest auction surpassed the previous record set on August 21, when Plot P1 was sold for Rs 264 crore per acre. That auction generated Rs 1,386 crore, of which 25 per cent has already been received as the first-stage payment, according to a state government release issued on Friday, August 28.
Together, the two auctions have generated Rs 2,833.22 crore from 10.63 acres, with an average realisation of Rs 266.53 crore per acre.
Officials said the back-to-back auction results, both exceeding Rs 260 crore per acre within a week, demonstrate strong and consistent investor interest in the Raidurg corridor. The area continues to attract businesses and investors due to its strategic location, expanding infrastructure and proximity to Hyderabad’s major commercial and technology hubs.
TGIIC Vice-Chairman and Managing Director K. Shashanka said the auction result reflected growing investor confidence in Hyderabad and Telangana.
“Today’s auction is a strong endorsement of investor confidence in Hyderabad and Telangana, as well as Raidurg’s continued appeal as a leading business and investment destination. The achievement reflects the government’s proactive, investor-friendly policies and sustained infrastructure development,” he said.
The auction was conducted through the MSTC e-auction platform, with global real estate consultancy JLL serving as the exclusive transaction adviser.
