Maruti Suzuki on Tuesday announced that it will be extending its subscription services to Hyderabad and Pune. The Maruti Suzuki Subscribe program is almost 3 months old now.
The Maruti Suzuki Subscribe scheme began in Delhi NCR and Bangalore initially and will now operate in four cities in total. The subscription program by the automaker allows customers to use a brand-new car by paying an all-inclusive monthly fee that covers maintenance and insurance for the complete duration too.
Currently, the fleet of cars that Maruti Suzuki offers for a subscription includes Swift, Dzire, Vitara Brezza, Ertiga, Baleno, Ciaz, and XL6. The cars can be subscribed for a tenure of 24, 36, or 48 months. The lowest subscription scheme starts at Rs 15,354 for Swift LXi in Pune and Rs 15,479 in Hyderabad.
The automaker has partnered with ORIX Auto Infrastructure Services to operate the subscription scheme. The vehicles will be registered in the name of the customer and the scheme is inclusive of road tax, registration charges, and insurance. Additionally, complete maintenance and 24×7 roadside assistance come as a part of the package.
“Maruti Suzuki Subscribe is focused to bring convenience to the individual customers. It comes with a bouquet of convenient features – flexible tenure, zero down payment, registration, and insurance and also covers complete maintenance. We are overwhelmed with customer response in the first few weeks of the pilot launch and received over 5,000 inquiries. Progressively, we aim to offer Maruti Suzuki Subscribe in 40- 60 cities in the next 2-3 years,” said Shashank Srivastava, Executive Director, MSIL.
