Hyderabad: T-SAT Network, State government’s educational channel, will now be available on Bharti Airtel DTH and Airtel Xstream App.

An agreement to this effect has been signed between T-SAT and Bharti Airtel here on Friday. Vidya and Nipuna channels of the T-SAT network will be available on 948 and 949 channel numbers on the Airtel DTH.
In a press release, the T-SAT Network said Airtel, which is the largest mobile operator in the country has over 10 lakh DTH and 1.50 crore Airtel Xstream subscribers in the State.
In line with the State government’s decision to conduct digital classes, this agreement with the Airtel will benefit large numbers of students of schools, intermediate, degree and postgraduation, it said.
The T-SAT Network has already signed agreements with several organisations for broadcasting digital classes for students and also has about four lakh subscribers on YouTube.
T-SAT Network CEO R Shailesh Reddy thanked Bharti Airtel for broadcasting T-SAT Network channels.
Bharti Airtel CEO-Telangana & Andhra Pradesh Avneet Singh Puri said he is happy that the State government is providing educational services to students through the T-SAT Network.
