Hyderabad: Daivik, a 5th-grade student at Manthan School in Hyderabad, has authored his first book, ‘Mystery Of The Missing Jewels,’ at just 10 years old.
Listed on BriBooks, the story revolves around a kingdom famed for its jewel-making art and follows a prince as he uncovers the mystery of the stolen jewels. Since its release, the book has garnered praise from enthusiasts and earned Daivik the Platinum Author Certificate from BriBooks, thanks to its swift rise in popularity among readers.
“I have always loved reading books and have a special interest in fiction. The plot of the story has been built from my imagination and is inspired by several fiction books I have read in the past,” says Daivik.
Daivik has always been fascinated by mythical creatures like dragons, which fueled his keen interest in reading fiction. He says his favorite authors are Tracey West and Thea Stilton.
Daivik’s mother, Sowjanya, noticed his interest in fiction from a very young age. “Daivik also likes writing stories, which sparked the thought of encouraging him to write a book,” she says.
