Hyderabad: Comic Con India kicked off the excitement early with an unforgettable cosplay workshop, featuring renowned illustrator and 2024 Indian Cosplay Champion Saurabh Singh Rawat, along with Zohair Khan (aka Kiwi Lemon Sorbet). The event took place at Aaromale Café in Film Nagar.
Saurabh Singh Rawat, with over a decade of experience in the entertainment industry and collaborations with top global brands, delivered a captivating presentation on the art of cosplay. Combining traditional artistry with modern pop culture, he shared valuable insights into the creative process behind his stunning designs.
Joining him was Hyderabad’s own cosplay veteran, Zohair Khan, a key admin of The Hyderabad Cosplayers Club, known for his exceptional skill in bringing fictional characters to life.
The duo led an interactive session that left aspiring cosplayers in awe. During the hands-on demonstration, they showcased how to craft intricate costumes using simple materials like foam, fabric, glue, and scissors. Attendees were amazed by the simplicity of their techniques and motivated by the practical advice and encouragement shared by Saurabh and Zohair.
The room buzzed with excitement as participants left with a newfound sense of confidence, eager to elevate their cosplay skills ahead of the upcoming Hyderabad Comic Con, according to a press release.
