Hyderabad: Former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu inaugurated an exhibition on Thursday as part of LokManthan 2024, a colloquium featuring “nationalist thinkers.”
President Droupadi Murmu will inaugurate LokManthan 2024 on November 22.
The event, organized by Prajna Pravah, a platform of ‘nation-first’ intellectuals, researchers, and academicians, will include debates on diverse topics and cultural programs.
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, and other prominent dignitaries are expected to participate in the event, which will run until November 24.
Delegates from various countries, including groups that follow pre-Abrahamic traditions, will participate in LokManthan 2024, showcasing cultural dances and exhibitions. Among them, the Yazidis, who have endured attacks by ISIS, are also expected to attend, according to the organizers.
LokManthan, a biennial event that began in 2016, has previously been hosted in Bhopal, Ranchi, and Guwahati.
