Hyderabad: Street Cause, a voluntary organisation established by students, hosted several virtual events as part of their fundraiser activities on Sunday. The events to raise funds included Run for a Cause 7.0, a premier marathon, along with standup comedy, celebrity panel session, quiz, Zumba and Yoga sessions. A total of 1,00,000 passes were issued.
The day started at 5 am with a refreshing Yoga session by Abhimanika Yadav, which was followed by a virtual 5k run. The celebrity panel discussion which took place at 4:30 pm was attended by Etela Rajender, Health Minister of Telangana State, Dr Kiron Yadugiri, CEO, SuchirIndia Developers and Honorary Consul of Republic of Bulgaria and Sahil Kaul, Economic Times Young Leader 2019. Comedian Rohit Swain tickled the funny bone of the audience with this stand-up comedy performance.
Street Cause is providing a platform for enthusiastic and passionate youngsters to do their bit and bring about the desired change in the society. The objective of voluntary organisation is to help the underprivileged, such as orphans, the elderly, the unemployed, the physically and mentally handicapped, to better their lives in any way possible.
