Hyderabad: Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad recorded its highest-ever monthly passenger traffic last month.
The airport also recorded its highest-ever single-day passenger traffic, with 82,300 travelers on May 18, 2024.
Year-over-year (YoY), overall passenger traffic increased by 11%, with domestic traffic rising by 10% and international traffic growing by 14%.
Recently, GMR Hyderabad International Airport (GHIAL) clinched the ACREX Hall of Fame National Level Award at a competition in New Delhi.
Competing in the commercial building category for energy efficiency and sustainability, GHIAL triumphed over some of India’s leading corporate offices and buildings.
